"The heavens declare the glory of God, and the sky above proclaims his handiwork." (Psalm 19:1)

My Photography Gear

I used to be loyal to Canon photography gear, but made the switch to the Fujifilm mirrorless system.

With Fuji, I’m able to keep my photo bag very small, light, and effective. Effective, because the camera is more often with me, rather than being cumbersome to bring along. Hesitation is death to photography!

My camera bodies:
Fujifilm X-T1
Fujifilm X-T10
Fujifilm X-M1

My camera lenses:
Rokinon 12mm f/2.0
Fujifilm 23mm f/2.0
Fujifilm 27mm f/2.8
Fujifilm 50mm f/2.0
Canon FD 135mm f/2.0
Tokina RMC 400mm f/5.6

Since Fuji cameras & lenses are so small and light, I’m able to use multiple bodies with specialized prime lenses rather than suffering the compromises of zoom lenses. I find prime lenses force me to think more creatively, and provide unique functionality to stand out compared to zooms.

That said, I do still wish for versatility at times – and have my eyes on Fuji’s telephoto zoom offerings. But the best gear is the gear you’ve got!
